Today I am grateful that this week has come to an end! I know we say this every week but real talk this week was rough and tough with afro puffs lol! Shout out to RAGE (90's Hip Hop Queen).
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY FOR THE SABBATH!
The Sabbath is such a blessing and I am so grateful that I can rest for 24hrs from work! The kind of work I get paid to do. The kind of work that you really do need a break from weekly. The Sabbath went from something I did cuz He said so to a self care practice I relish in.
I attempt to protect The Sabbath for His glory and my good. Meaning I don't work and my job knows not to schedule me between Friday eve and Saturday eve. I am grateful for my employer for this! I like The Sabbath! I am grateful for The Sabbath!
THANK GOD IT'S THE SABBATH!
God knew what He was doing when HE CREATED & MADE THE SABBATH HOLY! He knew we would need a break from the news, from the grant we are writing at work, from paying bills, from buying and selling - HE KNEW!
CELEBRATE
This month I celebrate 10 years of observing The Sabbath and I pray these next 24 hours that God would get glory from my interactions and resting. I anticipate God's beauty enveloping me and His love completing me!
